The Andersons Inc. Posts Blowout Second Quarter Results

Congratulations to The Andersons Inc. for a killer quarter. ANDE achieved an EPS of $1.40 which easily surpassed analysts' expectation of 92 cents. Total revenues were a mind-blowing $634 million. Analyst expected revenues to be $500 million. More on this later...

    I honestly was concerned after looking at Aventine's results. Corn prices were still so shockingly high! Yet, ANDE pulled it off. I'm not a shareholder but I do own VSE. Hopefully this momentum will carry on as VSE will post results as respectable.
